A gruff old druid who was ambushed by Venomfang, a green dragon that had laired in the Ruins of Thundertree. The Heroes of Phandalin enraged Venomfang by destroying one of her eggs, and slew her when she came to the other egg's defense. The party discovered Reidoth tied up in a large chest inside the ruined tower that Venomfang had claimed, and he offered to lead the Heroes of Phandalin to Cragmaw Castle as thanks for his rescue. Reidoth then departed with the remaining dragon egg, vowing to raise it away from the influence of its evil kin.
