Lukas was created with a modified Clone spell by Luke Landswimmer who mixed his and Malkorum's DNA. Malkorum, who was still known as Malcolm Barovich back then, took him to Dragonstone when Lukas was still a baby, to be raised with the rest of the Barovich family. The family accepted Lukas, but banished Malcolm for dishonoring the Barovich name by having a child out of wedlock.
