Having successfully shut down the operations of The Rouge Gang at the The Anchor and Lute, The Emerald Fury took time to talk to the newly rescued Lt. Apple Emberflight. From her they discovered that she was part of an operation to invesigate the gang activity and report back. She agreed to make introductions to the leadership of Special Operations Regiment.
The party also split up briefly that afternoon. Sybalia "Syb" Anning and Samantha "Sam" Mettle found themselves in a curios store called the Taboo and the Voodoo. There they were offered a chance to buy one of several cursed artifacts. Meanwhile Katizar "Kati" Ubane and Aveline Voight went exploring only to be offered a chance to buy a dragon egg that had fallen off the back of the wagon.
The next day a wagon arrived to take them to the grounds of the Imperial Palace, specifically the building which served as headquarters to the SOR. Within the halls they met Lady General Theodora Whiteraven.
The General did confirm that there is a major criminal organization in the city and due to their pervasiveness she is personally handling the pursuit of it's otherwise illusive leader "The Operator". She confirmed that there had been a kidnapping ring which they were 'handling'. Of note she asked if the party were willing to except a mission to secure an arms shipment. The weapons were housed under a local club. Members of the SOR would secure the club area while the party dealt with any resistance/ guards below.
It was agreed that the party would take the job in exchange for coin and an introduction to the Imperial College so that they could continue their research into the device.
