Casting Time: 1 action
Range: 30 feet
Components: V, S, M (a pinch of stardust)
Duration: Concentration, up to 10 minutes

You grant up to five willing creatures you can see within range a small starry mote that orbits each of their heads until the spell ends. Each star sheds bright light in a 15-foot radius and dim light for an additional 15 feet. While a mote is within 30 feet of another mote created by this spell, a faint line of light connects both motes.

A creature with a mote gains the following benefits for the duration.

  • At the start of its turns, it gains a number of temporary hit points equal to 5 + the number of motes within 30 feet of it.
  • When it makes an attack roll, it can expend the mote to gain a bonus to the attack roll equal to 2 + the number of motes within 30 feet of it.
  • When it fails a saving throw, it can use a reaction to expend its mote and re-roll the d20. It must use the new result.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 6th level or higher, you can target one additional creature for every two slots above the 4th.
