Argentis - The Silver City. The only Illiadian City-State to remain independent and the largest of the three, beeing a proper metropolis nowadays. It also controls several villages and townships and has expanded its borders enough to become a fully-fledged country. Argentis, the capital of the republic which also houses a large part of the country's population, is a bustling city trying to keep its Illiadian legacy alive, while mixing it with the local culture. Argentis is also very racially accepting, and houses even peaceful members of "monstrous" races like Kobolds and Goblins. It's often argued that Argentis' main strength lies within its diverse population. Argentis and it's republic is run as a by the Argentian Assembly, which is elected every 8 years.
Argentis also happens to be the home of the headquarters of the Liwilai Adventurer's Guild, which also has close ties to the Assembly. It is said that recruits who are recruited into this particular branch almost always make it big as adventurers.
