Half-Elves, like Half-Orcs, are a unique case of children of two worlds. Though many Half-Elves today are born from two Half-Elf parents, they occur just as often when an Elf and a Human have a child with each other; though this often results in a bit of a disconnect from both elven and human society, due to their radically different cultures and lifespans. Nonetheless, Half-Elves tend to be diplomats and politicians in cultures that often work together with elves.
