Genasi are descended from elementals and genies, the same as Aasimar are descended from celestials and Tieflings from fiends. They tend to be as free and unbound as the primordial elements that they personify and tend to live their own lifes. They can be found more commonly near the edges where the elemental planes and material plane meet, and can be classified into Water-Genasi, Fire-Genasi, Earth-Genasi and Air-Genasi.
