The Heroic Domains of Ysgard, also known as Gladsheim, is a plane of honorable battle. Creatures that die in combat on the Ysgardian battlefield always come back the next day, which allows the many warriors that make this plane their afterlife, as well as the natives of this plane such as Dragons, Giants and other powerful creatures, to train beyond normal limits. Many gods that honor both combat and freedom make Ysgard and its three layers their home, including the Norse Pantheon that is worshiped in the more traditional parts of the northlands.
