Real name: Ul'grak Niedermeier. Originally born in the Grenwal Confederate Empire about 250 years ago as a Half-Orc, before becoming a Tirrdaka in a very stupid accident while studying as an Enchantment-Wizard at the Institute of Magic and Ena in Argentis, and eventually a Feda-Lide after dying against a bandit sometime after graduation, Ul'grak decided to make Lemonade from the Lemons that life (and unlife) dealt him and became a traveling Magic Item Merchant with a very recognizable gimmick.
While relatively famous and well-regarded in the big cities of Liwilai, Cracklebones nonetheless has trouble finding customers that won't be scared of him in the countryside and more remote areas. It's not uncommon that he accidentally becomes the cause of a mass panic, only for military leaders to jump in, see him, shake their heads at the unnecessary mobilization that Cracklebones has caused, and lets him go.
