Changelings are a fey people that are often unseen, with many rumors surrounding them. Some evidence says that they may have some relation to doppelgangers, but the exact relation is unknown. Changelings have an inherent ability to take on the appearance of other people, which allows them to blend into any population more or less undetected. However, to some people, this ability is considered a threat, as it allows changelings to take on the appearance of other people to do horrible things in their name. This has led to many people, especially in more rural areas, to regard changelings with suspicion; and not necessarily without good reason, as many changelings make excellent spies and con artists. However, many changelings simply want to live their lives unbothered.
