The Grey Waste of Hades is a bleak plane that is teeming with the most primal of evils. Non-native visitors more often than not will feel a deep-seated despair if they visit this plane; and should they not be careful, they might even turn into fiendish Larvae, which are traded and used all across the lower planes. Nonetheless, Hades is an important plane, as many things that start on other planes also end here; the very foundation of the Arborean Mount Olympus, or the River Styx which flows through the lower planes, to name a few. Hades is often considered the birthplace of the first Yugoloths of Gehenna, though there's differing ideas on how the first ones were created.
