As the last theocracy of Grenwal, Monast is governed by the faith of Erathis, with the Prince-Bishop also being the local high priest of the Erathian faith. While most other religions are permitted within its borders, much of the day-to-day life in this state of the empire is shaped by the faith of Erathis. Law and Order are well-regulated, if only a little strict at times.
