Once a prince-bishopric of Kord, but now known as one of the famous merchant cities of northern Grenwal, Hemstadt has a lot of history to its name. Not only is it well-known for its trade, so much that an entire complex of warehouses had to be built in order to house all of the goods that Hemstadt imports and exports, but it is also well-known for its Opera House, which is the oldest in the entirety of Grenwal. Just like the other merchant cities of Grenwal, Hemstadt is led by its city council.
