Though part of the Grenwal Confederate Empire, Millna has a lot of ties to The Corniola Covenant, both culturally and diplomatically. In everyday life, most people here even speak Corniolan instead of Grenwalian. The architecture, culture around learning and art also are very distinctly in a very Corniola-esque style. Nonetheless, as long as the Empire stands, so will Millna likely be part of it. Recently, the duchy lost some eastern territories to the Archduchy of Oesterholm in a smaller kerfuffle over land.
