Sehanine Moonbow

Daughter of the Night Skies, Lady of Dreams

The other moon-goddess besides Selûne, lording over the yellow moon Hanina, Sehanine Moonbow is a goddess predominantly worshiped by elves as part of the elven Pantheon, though she is also worshiped by a plethora of other races as a moon-goddess, mainly humans. Sehanine is the wife of the Elven Head-Deity Corellon Larethian, and often considered the original goddess of both moons. Only when Selûne arrived on Sancstoryl did the two goddesses decide to split the domain of the twin moons amongst each other.

Some people say that Sehanine Moonbow was the one to introduce the gift of Lycanthropy to the world, and first bestowed it to some of her elven worshipers, only for Malar to claim the gift as his own, turn it into a curse and take credit for it. While malicious Lycanthropes are infamous thanks to Malar's meddling, Sehanine's strain nonetheless still exists, especially in places such as the High Lordship of Lugh; this survival of Sehanine's strain of Lycanthropy also helped by Selûne, who also helped introduce her own good lycanthropes to the world, as she also did so in her original home world.
