The Agate Seekers continue towards the town of Victé with Henich in tow; or rather, on Volk Lesnoy's back, tied up like a present and hoisted up like a bagpack and gagged with a stick. However, they arrived at the town relatively late, close to midnight. After temporarily loading Henich off to the Adventurer's Guild guildhouse, the party decided to stay the night at an Inn and Tavern called The Lonely Lady. The next day, the party, now with Henich in proper handcuffs with a muzzle on his face, the party returned to Argentis. Upon leaving the teleportation room, and seeing Marlène Lebas, who informed Captain Ukren Schwerter and Limni Diluvi, the party and Ukren made their way to the conference room, and waited for Limni's arrival.
After arriving, Limni first had a conversation with Henich, asking why he was looking for the artifact, and how he was able to find that artifact so easily. Henich seemingly gave him satisfactory answers to both, and Limni gave him a choice; either go to jail... or be hired by him and his , so he could become his new scout. Henich, reluctantly, agreed. The party was then rewarded by Limni and Ukren with several magic items... as well as, surprisingly, the deed for a storefront that the Agate Seekers would from there on own. Construction and Maintenance of this shop, as well as further upgrades, will be assisted by the Guild, and Quests will now include "Guild Credits" as a hidden reward, which can be exchanged for upgrades to the shop. The Agate Seekers decided on making this shop into a restaurant, and construction begins.
As Limni and Henich leave to parts unknown after the Ruby Bands of Might are given to Limni, the party is then stopped by Ukren who gives them two weeks of vacation, and downtime to use at their leisure.
During the first week, Dareth Lion'el first sought out Zora and Mikhail. He wanted to train with Zora to see how she fights barehanded, and so they did under Mikhail's watchful eye. He then asked Mikhail out to another date, this time at the Hunter's Lodge. Here, the subject of pet names came up, and a nice dinner was had.
Sooty resumed his War Caster training, with 3 out of 6 weeks finished.
Zora took week 1 out of 9 for the Mobile-feat.
Volk continued his piercer-training, with week 4 out of 9.
And Mikhail continued his own War Caster training at week 2 out of 9.
As the first week off came to a close, the party got a short missive that their business was finished renovating, and after meeting the dwarven foreman in charge of the building, got a list of applications to their business. So, the party decided to start the interviewing process.
First came the cook for the restaurant. The only application came from an individual well-known by the group, Kilbi Leaftooth, who, upon stepping into the restaurant, was immediately hired. Her focus on international cuisine already made her the best candidate for the party's restaurant in their eyes, and that she already applied was seen as quite the boon. She then was invited to take part in the interviewing process.
And then, another applicant entered; a young halfling woman.
