(Mikhail's player was unexpectedly unavailable. Dareth Lion'el Griffmane's player took over for him. Zora is also absent in- and out-of-character.)

We start off today's session as the party prepares for the party, as everyone gets formalwear. Dareth also decided not to hide any armor underneath, but chose his Dawn Shard Longsword to take with, while Volk Lesnoy took Dareth's +1 Longsword with him to give him in case he needs it. Philomena Snapdragon hid her armor underneath her big, poofy dress and took along her Revolver, while Sooty decided to go in a nice looking waistcoat.

The next evening, the party met up with Limni Diluvi and Talxenden Safras at their estate. Talxenden seemed a bit on edge about the prospect of doing a heist during a noble's party. Limni was also not happy, but this seems to be their best shot at getting back The Gourmand's Pan of the Red Moon. Limni then explained the situation to the party:

He got this invite from Duca Ecclesio Bellagamba of Napolae, a Duke from the Kingdom of Napolae in The Corniola Covenant. He's an old friend of Limni's, from back when he used to be a freelance adventurer. It's his daughter's 16th birthday. However, the Duke doesn't know that Limni suspects that Matteo Ghiotto, the cook he hired for the day, stole the Gourmand's Pan, nor does he know about Limni's plans, so he hopes that he can keep things down-low.

And with that, Limni, Talxenden and the party make their way to a Public Teleportation Service-Building, which will teleport them to Napolae. Volk, noticing the price on the tickets, nearly has a heart-attack when he realizes that Limni paid about 1000 Gold per person for these teleporter-tickets, learning just how easy they have it as adventurers. In Napolae, a beautiful coastal city in the shadow of a volcano, the party then makes their way to the estate of Duca Ecclesio.

At the front porch, the party then finds several other people, all wearing fancy clothes, waiting to be let in: An eccentric-looking, elderly Kobold, a turban-wearing man of seemingly Osé descent, a bored and tired-looking woman of El-Batok descent, a black dragonborn woman in ceremonial armor, two local-looking nobles, one male one female, a Halfling woman in fancy clothes and a pair of Half-Elf siblings; a sister and a brother.

The party, in order to pass the time, decided to engage in some conversation with the other guests. Dareth and Mikhial talked to the half-elf siblings, who introduced themselves as Arfine and Traword D’orso, a pair of bankers from the Republic of Floran. Sooty meanwhile managed to talk to the halfling-woman, who introduced herself as Dama Thamzana Salicecann, a lesser land-owning noble of the Duchy of Modersa, and was able to charm her enough to be promised a dance later.

Volk meanwhile talked to the turban-wearing man and the tired woman, who introduced themselves as Aldogan Akyuz, a trader from the Osé Sultanate, as well as Sheba Getachew Trefe, a diplomat from El-Batok to the King of Napolae. And Philomena, of course, chose the elderly kobold, who introduced himself as a retired inventor called Ikbo Amber-Eyes from the Free City of Mittburg, as well as the inventor of the Bread-Roasting Machine (Toaster) and the Clang-o-Matic Dish Bubbler (Arcane Dishwasher), amongst other things.

That was when the party was let into the building and the Duca introduced all the guests, while his annoyed daughter Ernesta sulked the entire time, annoyed that he never invited her friends to her 16th birthday party. While dinner was being prepared, Dareth and Mikhail engaged in conversation with the dragonborn woman, Yalter Krivsashi of the Krivsashi warrior-clan of It'ada, who was quite fascinated by the trade of adventurers. Philomena, Volk and Sooty meanwhile engaged in more conversation with Ikbo, who through circumstance revealed himself to be an old friend of Kilbi Leaftooth's father; their family of locksmiths helped him out a lot in the past.

That's when dinner was served; or at least the appetizer and main course, as the dessert is kept for after the dance. Between bruschetta, pasta and pizza, Mikhail and Volk were barely able to pull themselves away from the food; this is where Limni was sure that the cook, Matteo Ghiotto, stole the Gourmand's Pan. After Dinner, some speeches where had, most notably the Duca's speech to his annoyed daughter, and Limni informed Philomena that now perhaps was a good time to break off and look for the pan. Philomena excused herself, taking Sooty with her, and the two dissappeared into the bathroom; where Sooty casted invisibility of Philomena as she left out of the window.

SESSION END.
