Court Sword of Beauty - Rapier - Legendary Item/Artifact - Requires Attunement
A sword that is said to have been made by Idorik, Illiadian deity of Sight, Beauty and Aesthetics. You can choose to either deal Slashing or Piercing damage with this +3 Rapier. Additionally, the Court Sword of Beauty deals an additional 1d8 Radiant damage on a hit.
Unearthly Beauty. While attuned to this sword, you have advantage on all Persuasion and Performance checks. Additionally, when you wield it, you move with grace and poise. Once per short or long rest, you can bend other people’s perception of you. While this ability is active, you have advantage with any and all charisma checks for the next 2 hours.
Distracting Visuals. You have the ability to bend the very light around you to your advantage; Once per long rest, as a reaction when you would normally be hit by an attack, the very lighting around you becomes distracting for those that are hostile to you; the enemy was would’ve hit you must reroll their attack any hostile creature around you must reroll their attack roll and take the lower roll. Additionally, for the next 10 minutes, you can point at a hostile creature within 120 ft of you that you can seee. This hostile creature has disadvantage against all attack rolls against you, as well as all perception rolls to find you when you’re hidden. You can change this creature once per round as a bonus action.
Random Properties. The sword has 2 minor beneficial properties.
Limited Ena. While attuned to this sword, you have access to 6 Ena-points, as well as 3 general Ena-Techniques of any level. You can choose these Ena-Techniques after every long rest. Your casting ability for these techniques is Charisma and the Ena-Type is Neutral.
Beautiful Magic. With some help from Correllon, the Elven Progenitor God, as well as the Sancstorylian god of Art, Magic and Beauty, the Court Sword of Beauty has been infused with magic for use on Sancstoryl. When attuned to this sword, you can cast the following spells: Chromatic Orb (Level 3), Silent Image, Disguise Self, Alter Self, Color Spray, Major Image, Hypnotic Pattern, Seeming.
You either use your own Spell Save DC, or, if you can not cast spells or use Ena, your Spell Save DC for these spells is 17, and the Spell Attack Bonus is +10. When you cast one of these spells using the Court Sword, you can’t cast them again until you finish a long rest. Additionally, you learn the Minor Illusion cantrip.
