We return to the game on the morning after the party finished off the remnants of the blue Kobolds in the Blue Dragon's lair. Volk Lesnoy immediately noticed that the sound of strong winds had stopped, meaning that the lightning-sandstorm that surrounded the lair had stopped. The party took this as their cue to leave, and decided to pack up and continue their way to Rirdrin Yerentai's tower.

On the way out, the party walked past the kobolds' nursery/hatchery. It seemed like during the fighting, the kobolds' multiple thunder- and lightning-spells resulted in a bit of a rockslide, destroying most of the eggs... except for a single one. Suzzaeth immediately sprinted towards it to smash it, but was stopped by Volk and Cerviel. After some arguing, Volk decided to take the kobold egg himself, so that it can be raised to something good, much to Suzzaeth's annoyance, as she finds kobolds annoying. Meanwhile, Kilbi Leaftooth back home feels sad for some reason.

The next four days of travel are rather uneventful, as the party arrives in the resort-town of Züunur. Suzzaeth immediately splits from the party to relax in the water, while Volk and Cerviel decide to look around and visit some shops. First, Volk visited the Bargain Barrel, the local general store owned by a Verdan man, which baffled Volk for a moment. Nonetheless, he bought a fabric baby carrier for the egg, and then asked for a place to have the dragon-parts looked at and evaluate them; and the shopkeeper recommended the "Smelt in my Arms"-Blacksmithy, owned by a rather eccentric spellblade that used to be a royal guard.

Volk would then realize what was meant by eccentric, when he arrived at the blacksmithy and it seemed more like a gaudy soap-shop with scented candles and incense. Going inside, he found a rather fruity Hobgoblin man, who nonetheless was able to give him a rather good price evaluation, as well as an evaluation for a custom lightning-rod shield made from the dragon's skull, costing 12.000 Gold, which Volk immediately agreed to pay, before telling the blacksmith to send it to the party's ship in Nariinels once it's done.

After finding a local tavern and hotel, The Shimmering Waters, the party stayed for the night and then went on their way to the south, to Rirdrin's tower. This travel would take another six days, which were rather uneventful, besides a nice encounter with some Dau; desert-fairies that have powers over mirages, which can also create tangible illusions. A nice dinner was had, as the hyperactive fey asked the party several questions; they were the most interesting visitors they had in years, after all.

And eventually, the party arrived at the tower, where they met Rirdrin Yerentai, the Goblin wizardress, for tea, after telling her that Vana Bozan had sent her. Just as Vana said, Rirdrin showed herself to be resistant to giving up the Ribbon Stick of Celebration, as she paid hundreds of thousands of gold for the item, and was intending to study it; however, she then asked the party for a favor in return for the item: To the south-west of her tower, there was an ancient ruin to Boccob that she always was interested in; while she moved there to find the time to investigate it, she never got around to doing it... So, she's asking the party to investigate it. Additionally, if the party can give her three of the magic items that they may find in the ruin, then she'll give them the Ribbon Stick.

The party agreed to these terms, and, before everyone went on their way, she warned them of the Anubians that were protecting the place; sand-elementals with jackal-like faces and haboobs that sorround theem, with a grudge against spellcasters and abilities that target those without armor. With these words of caution, the party went on their way.
