The Jade Dictionary - Wondrous Item - Artifact - Requires Attunement

Deriel the Illiadian Deity of Language and Diplomacy is said to have gifted this book to a protegé of his who resided in the, then, small settlement of Khrusia on Sancstoryl, until it was gifted to the Temple of Aesil; until it was then taken from there, during the Great Wasting, in an effort to find a better place for it. Unfortunately, it got lost along the way.

The Jade Dictionary is an artifact of the Illiadian Holy Grand Count of Language, Deriel. The Jade Dictionary has 12 charges, regaining 1d10 charges daily at dawn. If you are attuned to this book, you can cast the spells Vicious Mockery (0 Charges, 4d4) Comprehend Languages (1 Charge), Dissonant Whispers (1 Charge), Suggestion (2 Charges), Gift of Gab (2 Charges), Tongues (3 Charges), Mass Suggestion (5 Charges) and Glibness (8 Charges) without expending a spell slot. If all charges are used up, The Jade Dictionary can’t be used for a month, at which point it regains all charges. The spell attack bonus or spell save DC is either Wisdom, Intelligence or Charisma and chosen by you when you attune to this item.
