Poor Soul Stones

Lesser Soul Stones
Made from simple stones that have been mined out of the ground and are of a higher quality, usually cut into specific shapes.
Basic Soul Stones
Made from high quality marble, hardened basalt, or Obsidian. They can be used to capture stronger creatures such as direwolves and hobgoblins.
Common Soul Stones
The first type of soul stone made from gems, often made from low-quality cheap and common gems, allows for the capture of multiple souls in a single soul stone to a maximum of three.
Luminous Soul Stone
The second type of soul stone made from gems, these tend to be higher quality types such as Garnet, Opal, Aquamarine, and Topaz. These can hold more souls than a common soul stone, adding up to a total of five souls in a gem which is the maximum amount.
Brilliant Soul Stone
A Soul stone made from gems such as Rubies, Diamonds, Emeralds, and other rare gemstones. These are able to capture souls such as those of Trolls, Golems, Giants, and some species from other worlds such as Implings.
Special Soul Stone
A rare stone that can only be created by higher level magicians with access to strong soul trap enchantments. They are made of only the highest quality and rarest gems. They are able to capture almost anything besides purely sentient souls, anything less than a human soul.
Resplendent Soul Stone
The rarest stone you will ever find, these can only be created by dungeons and monsters, and are able to capture sentient souls such as those of humans and dragons. They are impossibly perfect and cannot be copied, they will sell for more than the coffers of most trade unions.
