Agility
Fishing -
Level 5
Allows you to catch the most basic of fish, such as Sunfish, Catfish, and Bass.
Level 10
Allows you to catch slightly more difficult fish, such as Trout, Walleye, and Perch. You also understand the basic idea on where to find fish, it being pointed out to you as you roam.
You have become an Initiate in Fishing.
Grants Ability - Fish Whisperer [Fish Based creatures are more likely to listen to you, and when fishing more will come to your bait]
Level 15
Allows you to catch more fish easily, such as Tuna, Sardines, and Pike. You understand the best way to get a fish out of the water, it becomes much easier to reel fish back in.
Grants Ability - River Smarts [+3 Levels to Trapping, +3 Levels to Hunting]
Level 20
Upon reaching this level, your chances to catch higher quality fish are increased, these fish often sell for more and some may even have odd properties that increase their usefulness to yourself or others.
Grants Ability - Anglers Dream [You are more likely to fish up expensive objects that were once lost to the depths]
Small Blades -
Level 5
You are slightly better at wielding small blades, daggers and other weapons become more effective and you are able to use these weapons against attackers in a more useful fashion, rather than swinging wildly.
Grants Ability - New Thief [+2 Levels to Stealth]
Level 10
You are getting the hang of wielding small weapons, your chance to miss is lower than it was before, often when you miss you'll instead hit a glancing blow or deal a small amount of damage.
You have become an Initiate in Small Blades.
Grants Ability - Jagged Cut [All of your slashes do less damage to armor, but slightly more to flesh]
Level 15
You are able to dual wield small blades now with efficiency equal to if you were at Level 5.
Grants Ability - Dual Wield [Wield two weapons at the same time]
Level 20
You are able to target specific areas with more efficiency and a high chance to hit, your dual wield efficiency is now as if you were level 10.
Grants Ability - Markov's Death [You're able to put poison onto your weapons and have it last much longer, as if it sticks to your weapon]
Maces -
Level 5
You are beginning to get used to maces, you no longer swing like a wild monkey- you have purpose in where your swings might land.
Grants Ability - Granite Breaker [You do more damage to rock based creatures]
Level 10
Your ability to wield maces has improved substantially from when you first started, you are now able to use longer and more bulky maces and keep use them as effectively as your current level.
You have become an Initiate in Maces
Grants Ability - Strong-Hand I [You can use Cavalry Maces and Flails without hurting yourself]
Level 15
Your strength has grown, and so has your ability to withstand the same blows you inflict on others. Your muscles feel more defined and your chest feels sturdier.
Grants Ability - Toughen [+25 HP Upon reaching level 15, +15 Stamina]
Level 20
You have become well aware on how to use your weapon of choice- A Mace. You are significantly better than when you first started, due to the power of your weapon, you gain an increase in Intimidation towards anyone who sees you.
Grants Ability - Bone-Breaker [+3 Levels to Instill Fear, +2 Levels to Coercion]
Thrown Weaponry -
Level 5
You are good at throwing things, although you usually don't hit exactly what you're aiming at. At least when you're throwing a ball it occasionally goes where you wish it to.
Level 10
You're getting good at this, sometimes you seem to get lucky and hit that lucky bullseye with your any object you throw, however sometimes you'll still end up missing wildly if you try to hit them directly.
You have become an Initiate in Thrown Weaponry
Grants Ability - Beginners Luck I [Throw any throwing weapon, have a higher chance to hit critical strikes accidentally, if you aim towards an enemies weak spot using this, you will always miss]
Cost: 50 Stamina
Level 15
You're now able to throw darts and small objects with precision, your high accuracy with small objects does not translate to large throwable objects such as bricks, rocks, or more practical weapons such as throwing spears or axes.
Grants Ability - Small Fry [Smaller thrown objects do more damage to critical spots, and have higher accuracy]
Level 20
Your battle prowess with thrown weapons is beginning to get to where you could be considered apart of some militias, your grasp of using larger thrown weapons has gotten better.
Grants Ability - Stunted Lightning Bolt I [Large weapons such as throwing spears and axes have a much higher accuracy]
Archery -
Level 5
Your ability to use bows has increased to a usable level, you now can hit the broad side of a barn on a good day. You're now able to ditch your training bow in turn for some real power with a shortbow. It would be smart to stick to shooting at things within at least fifty feet.
Grants Ability - Archery Prowess I [You are now able to use Shortbows, however you do need to use a vambrace to avoid hurting yourself]
Level 10
Your skill in Archery has increased, making you more accurate when it comes to shooting targets at a longer range than you are used to.
You have become an Initiate in Archery
Grants Ability - Skill-Shot I [You can now hit targets farther away than fifty feet in front of you, up to one hundred Feet]
Level 15
You are getting much better at this, your strength has increased due to your use of a bow and arrow- unlike what they say, it's tough work.
Grants Ability - Toughen [+40 Stamina Upon reaching Level 15, +10 HP]
Level 20
You have become well worth of a village Archer's strength, and are able to do much more than you used to be able to, you also no longer need to wear a vambrace while firing a bow, as your skill has gotten to a decent level.
Grants Ability - Lightning Bolt I [You are able to use a skill that allows your arrow to travel significantly faster upto double the speed]
Cost: 15 Mana, 10 Stamina
Beast Bonding -
Level 5
Upon hitting this level, you realise that finally; Friendly animals stop attempting to scratch or bite you. You now know how to act around small animals to avoid being attacked.
Grants Ability - Friendly Face [You now know how to act around small animals to avoid being attacked, this also offers slightly higher Charisma to Beastfolk that are shorter than you]
Level 10
You're getting good at becoming friends with animals, you are now able to tame smaller creatures by offering them food and affection.
You have become an Initiate in Beast Bonding
Grants Ability - Lesser Beast Taming [You can now tame small animals such as Bunnies, Rabbits, Squirrels, and More.]
Level 15
Animals begin to come to you when you wish them to, you are now able to tame slightly larger creatures by offering them food and affection.
Grants Ability - Lesser Beast Taming II [You can now tame animals such as Cats, Stray Dogs, and More.]
Level 20
Your skills in beast bonding have gotten good enough that by a simple look, an animal might befriend you and perhaps fight for you.
Grants Ability - Beast Charm [Using an ability, you can look at an animal and convince it to join your side in a fight as long as its lower than your skill level]
Cost: 35 Mana, 35 Stamina
Penmanship -
Level 5
Your penmanship has gotten slightly more legible, you are now able to write and read your own name, however some written words and phrases still cause confusion.
Grants Ability - Deft Hand [You are able to write your name, and basic sentences]
Level 10
With more practice and understanding, you've attained the ability to read and write with basic ability. Some larger words may skip your mind but overall most of it is under your control
You have become an Initiate in Penmanship.
Grants Ability - Deft Hand II [You are able to understand most words and sentences that are written]
Level 15
You've become quite good at writing that you are now able to form contracts and such that are taken seriously.
Grants Ability - Contract Writer [You are able to write binding contracts by using the will of the law behind them and will not be laughed at]
Level 20
With many written papers and numerous hours of practice, you've become good enough to have enough detail to write basic runes onto most writable materials, however you are unable to give them any power without the appropriate skills.
Grants Ability - Rune Writer [You are able to draw basic runes that may create basic spells once powered and used]
Riding -
Level 5
Your ability to ride a mount has gotten better, you are able to go faster than a simple canter without losing your balance.
Level 10
You've gotten the hang of riding upon basic animals such as Horses, and with this you no longer need to hold on with both hands whilst strapped down, and are able to leave at least one hand free.
You have become an Initiate in Riding.
Grants Ability - Basic Riding [You know how to ride a horse, and potentially even battle on one- however this is not recommended]
Level 15
You've gotten better at riding animals, and now are able to hold onto a horse with only your legs, now being able to use both hands while riding. However you must be facing forward at all times, and type of swiveling may cause you to lose your balance.
Grants Ability - Speed Rider [You can use your latent magical ability to speed up your mount slightly]
Cost: 20 Mana
Level 20
Your ability to ride a Horse has become quite good, and you are now able to potentially do battle on your mount, being able to slightly swivel and swing your arms without damaging yourself or the horse you ride on.
Grants Ability - Battle Mount [You can now fight upon a mount without falling, and are slightly effective]
Swordsmanship -
Level 5
You understand the basics of fighting with medium sized blades, and how to use them in combat.
Grants Ability - Basic Training [You understand the basics of blades, and can now do basic fighting moves]
Level 10
Your swordsmanship has improved to allow you to be able to block hits against you with other blades.
Grants Ability - Strengthened Block [You are now able to block other swords in combat]
