Leanne Morens growing up was a part of a blossoming cult, at a young age she heavily leaned into the guidelines that led all decisions they made. It was only when she reached teen years that a part of her considered what life was luck for those they hid from. During a scouting excursion she delved into the library of the town, reading and learning.
It was then that she caught the eye of the librarian. Despite her best attempts, she attempted to hide her origins, a few tough questions let slip her facade. Returning back to her base, she did not tell the others of what she did. In hindsight perhaps this was the critical mistake that was made. They stuck around for far too long... and then the Crusader arrived.
She escaped alive, but saw no one else escape from their onslaught. The Tiefling ran and ran until she reached civilization. Struggling to find structure, she quickly became enamored as she learned of the guards and the laws they enforced. Falling into old habit, she began to study and delve into law. Every detail she could learn was soaked in by her. Then it came time to test.
Leanne passed the tests and was enlisted into the guards. Notice was taken of the new recruit due to her unexpected arrests for laws that most guards either forgot or chose to not enforce. Even the more esoteric laws were not safe from her. This level of devotion spread word and made her one of the candidates for testing a new position to enforce the laws of the Empire outside their farthest reaches.
After completing the task to apprehend a crime boss that went into hiding, she became the first Legislacerator. Filled with pride, she continued on to perform her duties. Lately her arrests became fewer, leading some to consider if she's gone soft from lack of passion or choosing which laws are worth enforcing out on her own.
Leanne first met the party at the mansion during Quest 9: You Are Cordially Invited in which the Legislacerator quickly gathered the suspects and relied on the party to figure out who it was. While she is uncertain of this case, justice was delivered and she separated from the party.
The Tiefling later met up with the group in Nomad and joined their adventures, playing an especially pivotal role during Quest 14: Romeo o' Romeo where she argued and defended the party in order to get them released from the political stranglehold upon them.
