Sasserine is the capitol city of Ellonde, and is the richest city in the world. It is a massive port city situated along the Golden Coast, and houses both the Ellonde Royal Navy and the seat of Daniel Grayson, the current ruler of Ellonde.
Sasserine is home to the Sasserine Arena, a monumental coliseum that boasts daily shows of sport and violence, as well as the Grand Market, a huge open-air market with more merchants and traders than can be found anywhere else in the world.
The city is made up of a series of small islands connected by bridges and overpasses, and is divided into the following districts:
- Azure District: this is the home to many of the city's craftsmen and middle class workers. It is also the center of religion for those that follow the Sailor Patron.
- Champoin's District: home to the Sasserine Arena and the Champion's Guild. This is also where Griggs Kord has set up his famous workshop.
- Cudgel District: main housing district for middle and low income workers.
- Trade District: the heart of the city, and home of the Grand Market
- Noble District: political center of the city. Home to nobles and members of the Ellonde Royalty, as well as the House of Feathers and the Ellonde Royal Navy.
- Sunrise: Upper class housing, vacation homes, and a few sparse businesses.
- Shadowshore: slums and low income housing. Also home to the seedier businesses and shipping docks. Oddly, it is also the home of the Sasserine Shipping Company, the official royally sanctioned freight company.
