Faced Mortlock. We promised to tell the guards he was dead in return for letting us leave. Told us loads of shit about what was going on but we didn't make notes.

The duke Van Thampur is trying to gain control, she's manipulated cult of dead3 to intrerupt BG to get FF overwhelmed. Once overwhemled she will take control. She convinced the other leader (Raven Guard) to go to Elthurial to see why swallowed up.
Duke knows we are responsible for wiping out, hit list. she already knows we tried a coup - so on hit list. Mortlock suggesting a way out of being her enemy OR ridding baulders gate of her.

We want to avoid Van Thampur becoming Duke of BG and remove us.
