Kentrosauri are herbivores with protective plates and spikes along their backs and sides. While much smaller than their stegosaurus cousins a kentrosaur can deal devastating blows and is an exceedingly difficult to attack, returning blows with stabbing spines.

Dim-witted.

Kentrosauri are known for not being terribly bright, and spend the majority of their time grazing or traveling from one feeding ground to another. Because of their dim wits lone kentrosauis are easily picked off by predators or hunters. In addition, kentrosauri are often bagged by big game tourists to areas where they are populous, mainly on account of their intimidating appearance, but relative ease for capture or as trophy kills.

Domestic Guardians.

Domesticated kentrosauri are often used as "guard dogs" for homesteads, farms, tribal communities, campsites, and more. The creatures are fiercely loyal once bonded to a particular family or other beast and will defend it to the death. Their intimidating appearance make kentrosaurus the favored guardian animal for many people in more rural areas where the town guard may not respond as swiftly as a thrashing kentrosaurus.

Pack Animal.

Kentrosauri are usually found in large family groups relying on safety in numbers, when threatened the kentrosauri will often form a wall of spikes and flesh, circling the young or weak of the herd in a deadly, spike-covered living barrier.
