Wyverns are cousins to the dragons, but a few very rare wyverns are much closely related to a chromatic dragon species. The existence of this type of wyvern may be attributed to dark arcane rituals, mad experimentation, or natural occurrences. While its overall anatomical structure mirrors that of a regular wyvern, a chromatic wyvern has distinct differences that set it apart. The white wyvern has a sleeker form, beaked jaws, and the spined crest at the rear of its head, characteristic of a white dragon. Its scales, too, take on the snowy hue of its dragon kin.

Cunning Predator.

The white wyvern's behavior is slightly different as well. Whereas a wyvern has animal-like predatory tendencies and is motivated more by hunger, a white wyvern possesses a more cunning and cruel intelligence that is also driven by greed.

Chilling Breath and Stinger.

What makes the white wyvern more dangerous than its regular kin is its ability to breathe a freezing blast of air, an ability it shares with the white dragon. The white wyvern's stinger also exhibits a remarkable distinction. Unlike the venomous sting of a regular wyvern, the white wyvern's stinger injects a debilitating venom that not only causes your blood and muscles to freeze but also renders the victim vulnerable to the cold, amplifying the creature's ability to inflict suffering.
