Not ones for direct confrontation, greenscale kobolds excel in laying intricate traps, ambushes, using guerrilla tactics, and use of cannon fodder. Their silver-tongued nature allows them to bend the will of simpler, dimwitted creatures like orcs and ogres, and they often have an entourage of such beings doing their bidding and serving as meatshields.
Greenscale kobolds stand slightly an inch or two taller than their common kin. Their dark emerald or olive scales shimmer subtly in dappled sunlight, making them experts of camouflage in woodland regions. Their eyes, often a gleaming shade of gold or sickly yellow, are sharp and observant. The pronounced crest that starts between their eyes and travels down their spine is a distinguishing feature, often becoming more prominent and rigid when the creature feels threatened or is displaying dominance. These crests are sometimes adorned with small feathers or tokens, signifying their connection to the green dragon lineage.
