The name Kardaresh derives from hobgoblin for an old title given to them, roughly translating into "The high warlords throne." This name is rightfully given. Warlords of Kardan had considered the kardaresh to be the only worthy mount to show their ferocity and brutality in leadership. While they rarely ever leave their Khan's estates they live a life of relative luxury with as much meat and wine as they wish. Ridden by their warlords whenever the lord wishes to show their might, siege a capital, or publicly execute a notable traitor.
