The Black Cat Goddess is a heresy. The area was originally inhabited by the cat people and they built the first settlement where the city now stands. Back then the CATFOLK worshipped the Black Cat Goddess. When the HUMANS, DWARFS and ELVES arrived they brought their god LEPDEUS with them. They stamped out the worship of the Black Cat Goddess. Even today the goddess is considered heretical and her worship is still illegal.
