We went through the portal and landed in a swamp.
Theres a small stone block ruin, the portal still exists on a slanted bit of floor, its like the top of a belltower.
Dwarvish Spear we found:
The Dragonspear. Dayros Dragonspear was doing stuff in the 1200s and is very well known in dwarven history. He befriended a metallic dragon and build a castle between Baldur's Gate and Daggerford.
He was Half-Dwarf, Half-Human. He was betrayed.
It doesnt need attunement.
It can turn into a lightning bolt, lances up to 40ft 3x per long rest.
It is a planar key to the Material Plane.
We go back to Daggerford.
I get the Cubic Gate out.
Something is preventing Divination and Communication for the Clerics.
Next day: 8th of Flamerule
Put the Dwarven Plate Armor in the Bag of Holding because its historically significant.
Kairon disappeared to the toilet for 20mins.
When I went to check he smelled of Brimstone.
Uldren used detect thoughts and found he made some sort of deal with a demon.
Oily skinned demon weird expression on its face, happy, sick ,cruel. Sense of loss, it was to protect someone.
Teleportation (Conjuration) magic is not working as it should
Arcane Eye (Divination) also.
We took Kairon back to the ship with a scroll of Zone of Truth.

Can we trust the deal not to backfire? It probably wont harm us. Only if he chooses to.

We open the portal to the Abyss (88th layer) there are trees, darkness with small beams of light.
Disgustingly hot humid jumgle, big insects buzzing, crashing water of some big waterfall some distance away. Half human/animal screeches.
Writhing Cyclone off to one side, blasting of lightning within it, its inverted like pointed upwards.
Theres some kind of screaming and blood as Uldren cuts an X in the tree.
This is the screaming Jungle.
Divination check wasnt needed there.
