Craignant stands with a commanding view of its surrounding area. Its glory days are long gone as it was heavily damaged and never fully repaired over 50 years ago.
What remains has been made good and is still mostly occupied.
The village surrounding the castle is densely populated and is a very active farming community as well as home to the miner's families in the nearby quarry.

Ragno's Mead Hall is a traditional Ost Mead Hall owned and operated by Ragno an Ostlander who has settled in Craignant and brought a bit of Ostland to the fringes of Weyland.
Craignant Quarry, lying a couple of miles from Craignant is the local limestone quarry.
