House Redtusk is the newest House, given its status by Giorg Harmthane in order to bring about peace between the Orcs and the other races of Frostorm.
House Redtusk is made up of Orcs and half-orcs, as well as some other goblinoid races. The Orcs of Frostorm were generally peaceful when the refugees from the Great War arrived and were trapped on Frostorm.by the Stormwall. This peaceful nature led to their undoing as the refugees took the opportunity to take more and more of Frostorm for their own. The Orcs were eventually pushed to the far Northern edge of Frostorm, living in the ice and cold.
Over time, the Orcs grew hardened by their circumstances, and they began to push back. With quick daring strikes at key locations, the damage they began to do to the States of Frostorm was mounting. Giorg Harmthane used the threat of the Orcs to unite the other houses behind him, and he brokered a peaceful resolution with the Orcs. House Redtusk was born, and the fifth State of Frostorm established.
State Redtusk is cold, icy, and for the most part barren. The Orcs have survived through fishing, heavy magical skill, and through underground farming. Their primary exports to the rest of Frostorm are liquors and other intoxicants, many of which are only made in State Redtusk and their recipes are heavily guarded secrets.
Since the formation of the Kingdom of Harmthane, Giorg Harmthane has organized the Orcs of House Redtusk into an effective war machine, able to magically provision themselves almost anywhere, and combined with the strength of their warriors, they are the backbone of the Harmthane army.
