Selanu once served as an artist slave in the templar court of Balic. Her specialty had been bone carving, but she developed a few additional skills to help her get around the court unseen. Her fledgling thieving talents found full expression under the tutelage of another artist slave who once made a living as a rogue (before his talents earned him a place as a slave). After gaining her freedom due to the efforts of the Free, Selanu asked to join the tribe. She now puts her talents to work as a raider and as a thief when she is assigned to a trade caravan. She enjoys stealing additional goods and ceramic pieces while wandering a village in the guise of a merchant from some fictitious house on the other side of the Tyr region.

Actions:

Multiattack. Selanu makes two attacks with her shortsword.

Shortsword. Melee Weapon Attack: +8 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 7 (1d6 + 4) piercing damage.

Hand Crossbow. Ranged Weapon Attack: +8 to hit, range 30/120 ft., one target. Hit: 7 (1d6 + 4) piercing damage.

Thieves' Tools. Selanu can use her thieves' tools to pick locks, disarm traps, or perform other sleight-of-hand actions. She has expertise in this skill, giving her double her proficiency bonus.

Cunning Action. On each of her turns, Selanu can use a bonus action to take the Dash, Disengage, or Hide action.

Evasion. If Selanu is subjected to an effect that allows her to make a Dexterity saving throw to take only half damage, she instead takes no damage if she succeeds on the saving throw, and only half damage if she fails.

Features:

Sneak Attack (1/turn). Selanu deals an extra 7 (2d6) damage when she hits a target with a weapon attack and has advantage on the attack roll, or when the target is within 5 feet of an ally of Selanu that isn't incapacitated and Selanu doesn't have disadvantage on the attack roll.

Expertise. Selanu has expertise in two of her skill proficiencies, doubling her proficiency bonus.
