Room of Runes

There are ancient orc runes that translated read:

King Zonzug, glorious king of the orcs, and warrior of the fiery dunes,

Was he that found the Great Key of Shadows spoken of here in these runes.

The Great Key of Shadows opened a door to the plane of black,

Made by halflings of the Blue Age a mountain's time back.

The terror Ra-Nool thought he could hide in that hollow dark place,

But thanks to the key, King Zonzug's justice, on that plane the beast would face.

King Zonzug used the key to open a bridge to the black, 

Crossed over, slew Ra-Nool and brought the beasts head back.

But there was a terror worse than a monster of the shadow realm,

Athas now bred the greater evil herself, placing Rajaat at its helm.

Rajaat's champion Uyness has been dubbed 'the orc plague', and rightly so.

There are few of us who have not fallen to her Obsidian Scepter's blows.

The Great Key of Shadows has been stolen, all is lost, the great king is no more,

With the last of our magic we seal this tomb from defilers, as Uynes knocks on the door.
