The Run as it is known is a colossal chariot-racing stadium and mass entertainment venue. It's the second largest public games venue connected to the cities regular festivals. Events are sponsored by leading Patrcians for the benefit of the people and the dictator Andropinis. Most are held annually or at annual intervals on the calendar. Others might be given to fulfil a civil vow, such as the games in celebration of a military triumph.
