Actions:

  • Multiattack. The mul gladiator makes two melee attacks.

  • Battleaxe. Melee Weapon Attack: +11 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 18 (2d8 + 6) slashing damage.

  • Shield Bash. Melee Weapon Attack: +11 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 11 (2d4 + 6) bludgeoning damage. If the target is a Medium or smaller creature, it must succeed on a DC 19 Strength saving throw or be knocked prone.

  • Net. Ranged Weapon Attack: +8 to hit, range 5/15 ft., one Large or smaller creature. Hit: The target is restrained until the net is removed. A restrained creature can use its action to make a DC 16 Strength check, freeing itself or another creature within its reach on a success. Dealing 10 slashing damage to the net (AC 10) also frees the creature without harming it, ending the effect and destroying the net.

  • Roar. The mul gladiator lets out a fearsome roar. Each creature within 30 feet of the mul gladiator that can hear it must succeed on a DC 16 Wisdom saving throw or become frightened until the end of the mul gladiator's next turn.

Reactions:

  • Parry. The mul gladiator adds 5 to its AC against one melee attack that would hit it. To do so, the mul gladiator must see the attacker and be wielding a melee weapon.
