The Dark Captain controls a ferry that travels across the sea of light to the island of radiance. He was once the Captain of the Fleets of Kurn and worked for the sorcerer king Oronis. He betrayed his king after the monarch turned into an avangion. Now as penance, his spirit must ferry would be avangions to meet Oronis on the island of radiance and recieve the mark of light that will allow them to make the transformation.
