Age of Elvenkind (AE) -10,000 — -75

    • The Aetherii Empire is formed

    • Yuan-ti invasion of Aevira begins.

  • -8000 AE

    • The Aetherii Empire holds back the last force of remaining Yuan-ti at the Battle of Aetheril.

  • -900 AE

    • The city of Aegis is founded.

  • -500 AE

    • Construction begins on the Lunaris Sanctum.

  • -150 AE

    • Humans arrive from Eilsvier across the Western Ocean to land in eastern Aevira in what will become modern-day Wakova.
    • The Aethrii Empire begins to enslave humans.

  • -125 AE

    • Many seek safety from the possibility of war and begin to migrate into the Lunaris Sanctum.

  • -100 AE

    • The Aetherii Civil War begins.
    • The Lunaris Sanctum becomes a refuge for those seeking to escape the war.

    • The Lunaris Sanctum is invaded by Aetherii Empire Loyalist forces.

Desolate Cascade

  • -75 AE

    • The Desolate Cascade begins.
    • Weakened by the Cascade, the Aetherii Empire collapses to internal power-struggles and civil strife. some elven city-states and smaller settlements endure, but lack the political and military cohesion of the earlier empire.

    • Humans settlements develop upon former elven territories.
    • The ancient Akumarans disappear.

Age of Resurgence (AR)

  • 1 AR

    • The Great Resurgence begins.

  • 150 AR

    • Humans begin exploring outside of Aevira and discover Akumara.

  • 200 AR

    • The kingdom of Valsolis is established.

  • 215 AR

    • Kytheon Nexen establishes the kingdom of Nexaria, consolidating any remaining settlements on its side of the Valsolis Sound.
    • Kytheon Nexen is crowned the first king of Nexaria at the age of 22.
    • The1st Festival of Nexaria is celebrated.

    • Explorers accidentally trigger an ancient curse on Akumara, Storm of Darkness, turning all that were present on the island in to tieflings.

    • The Centennial of Nexaria is celebrated.

  • 415 AR

    • The Bicentennial of Nexaria is celebrated.

  • 420 AR

    • King Anax Nexen III marries from a neighboring city-state in the name of peace, Lady Cymede Arcentrum, combining their names to Nexentrum in unity.

    • Named after the first ruler of Nexaria, Kytheon Nexentrum I is born in the city of Nexaria.

    • Kytheon Nexentrum I assumes rulership of Nexaria right before he turned twenty-two years old.

    • Kytheon Nexentrum I begins his campaign to unite the regions of Aevira.

    • Kytheon Nexentrum I makes a treaty with the houses of Petra, offering them neutral status in exchange for support in his campaign.

    • Preparing for war with the long-time rival that was the kingdom of Valsolis, Kytheon Nexentrum I expands his territory in to the Aevria's Heart and Wakova regions.

    • Kytheon Nexentrum I establishes the Crownsguard.

    • Nexentrum-Valsois War, a decade-long conflict, begins.

    • The Nexentrum-Valsolis War ends.
    • The Nexentrum Empire is established.

    • Kytheon Nexentrum I, now eighty-five winters old, steps down and passes rulership of the Empire to his eldest scion, Lucius.

    • Sovereign Ardeiria Valiron of Aegis sets off on a pilgrimage to the Mistpeak Mountains.

    • Lucius Nexentrum dies at the age of 87, passing rulership of the Empire to his son, Avicus.

    • Ardeiria Valiron returns to Aegis and forms the Order of Teno.
    • Wakova declares its independence as the Aegis Ascendancy.
    • The Aegis Ascendancy begins to shut down all magical institutions within Wakova.
