Located at the northernmost point of Libreum, Basaltide is the oldest surviving city. It was one of the very few to survive the cataclysm and as such is very hard set to remain to the old ways. The town is occupied by dwarves just like when it was first created. The homes and shops are built into the mountain sides and the dwarves there are some of the most skilled artisans in all of Eceledus. They worship the god Moradin and pray to him to bless their work every time they create something. Thanks to its location it's one of the least traveled to villages which makes the price of their goods incredibly high. When the dwarves of that town travel inland they traverse the dangerous mountain terrain but do so expertly. Other races are seldom seen in the town and usually met with nasty looks and treated poorly since the dwarves that call this town home believe it needs to remain a dwarf only town just like it was back in its glory days.
