Zarnis is a ruthless and calculating individual with a single-minded determination to increase her power and influence. She is clever and resourceful, and will stop at nothing to achieve her goals. She is also very prideful and will never back down from a challenge, even if it means risking her own life. She is a newer count, taking this position only 4 years ago, who murdered and took over the post of Count Zaharian. While normally The Coven would intervene and punish someone for this, they were interested in the idea of a devil being part of their ranks and left her be. Devils are incredible rare as they were all banished during the Cataclysm. Instead of changing the name of the keep, Zarnis decided to keep its original name of Unknown as a means to remind everyone she is not someone to be trifled with.
