Pandora
Pandora is an extrasolar planet some 146 LY from Earth. It orbits around the star Zerus which is a class G star, somewhat similar to Sol.
Pandora’s year is a fraction shorter than Earth at 336 days in length. Pandora receives 102% of the light that the earth does.
Although Pandora is smaller than earth its core is slightly heavier giving 1.1G gravity.
The Axil tilt is far less extreme than the earths; this causes a less extreme climate system.
There is a 25% Oxygen and 73% nitrogen mix in the atmosphere, which protects the planet from ultraviolet radiation. The green houses gases cause Pandora to be slightly warmer than earth.
Pandora is classified as a garden world, it has lush flora and carbon based fauna. Fauna is mostly of the clade Dinosauria. Thankfully most of the fauna is relatively small and lacks the Mega status found on some worlds.
Horizon is the capital of Pandora, a shining example of eco-engineering. Most manufacturing and all heavy industry is done in orbital facilities.

Pandora has an unusual gravitational phenomenon, occasionally a “Gravity Quake” occurs. These results in a part of the landmass being lifted away from the planet’s surface, this effect can last for a few moments and up to an indefinite period. This seems to only occur around the equatorial region and has never been recorded at the poles.
Pandora has also caused an evolution in human genetics and the generations of colonist developed ESPer Talents which have now bred true into the population.
