Thessilon
Thessilon is an extrasolar planet some 312 LY from Earth, It orbits around a binary star system, a pair of G class stars. The planet sits in a very narrow habitable zone.
Thessilons year is 178 days long and a day lasts 20 hours. Thessilon receives 120% of the light that earth does, however due to the high particulate matter content of the atmosphere it reflects away the 20% that would render the planet lethal to life.
There is an 87% Nitrogen and 11% Oxygen mix in the atmosphere; the planet is a fairly arid environment with little free standing water on the surface.
Thessilon is slightly larger than earth and has a 1.1G gravity.
Thessilon is a resource rich planet, which is why the native sentient species developed tools and evolved quickly. They rose to create a vast civilisation that spread across the entire planet. Their first solar exploration attracted the attention of their neighbouring system the Oopon. And the two have been allies since that time.
The Oopon shared knowledge with the Cerulean and nurtured their spacefaring and technological development.
