Jacques, very stressedly, gets his car onto the freeway. It doesn't smell very nice.
Thorn asks if he was taken as well, to which Jacques cautions that is not a good thing to ask people. He does his best to answer any and all questions, even pulling out his phone to show that they appear normal on digital cameras. He also receives a call from work, but continues regardless.
They arrive at Tony's Saloon, and Jacques is greeted by a man made of bark. He excitedly introduces himself as Rick, and seems happy to see new faces.
Another Changeling, a statuesque woman with harp strings in her neck, arrives to tend the bar. She is Lyre. She begrudgingly explains the existence of Fetches.
Uncle Tony arrives, a short man in a hawaiian shirt and socks / sandals. He warmly greets everyone. He tries his best to orient everyone as he can, and is interested to hear about how they all escaped. He fills in a printed map with the existence of the gates in the zoo. He shows great concern about the monster they encountered.
They are left with some numbers to follow up with that correspond with the other monarchs of the courts.
Rick gives them a ride the next day to visit the various monarchs. He gets some playful barbs in at Del. The takeaway from Ms Dazzle is that she doesn't like Tony a lot. Elise is a shy fav. She also informs them the Winter Queen has not been seen in a while. Michael "The Bookworm" Wurm dislikes being called The Bookworm, but otherwise offers out of court benefits to using the library.
