A Pokémon Species first discovered in the Sinoh Region. This Pokémon is said to be the byproduct of the creation of the world and was banished by Arceus to the Distortion World. Some have speculated that Giratina is the godly representative of antimatter, of shadow, or even of gravity, but more research has to be done. Giratina still resides in the Distortion World, sometimes venturing into the main Pokémon world whenever it is in need.
