Biography

Elysium

Hilda was born in the Nuvema Town to a stay-at-home mother and a salaryman father. Through Hilda’s early childhood, she spent a lot of time at home spending time with her family and the few friends around her age around that time, notably two children named Cheren and Bianca. The three were extremely close friends and loved Pokémon in their own way. Even when they were little, the trio promised each other that they’ll all start their Pokémon journey together, that no matter where life takes them after that point, that they’ll take their first steps together. The years passed by as the three started to grow up.

Eventually, it was time for them to start their own Pokémon journey; however, Bianca’s parents wouldn’t budge at first. For some time, Bianca’s parents were worried about her well-being and didn’t approve of her going out to become a Pokémon Trainer. Initially, Bianca offered for Cheren and Hilda to go without her, but the duo refused. They delayed their plans for over a year while the adults of the town slowly convinced Bianca’s parents to let her go. Eventually, they did and the trio started their Pokémon journey together to find their own path: Cheren to become the strongest trainer, Bianca to follow along her friends, and Hilda to make new friends and have fun adventures.

Throughout Hilda’s initial journey, she met a significant amount of friends in people and Pokémon, but she also ran into hardship: a team known as Team Plasma was going around the Unova Region to preach about the liberation of Pokémon. They claimed that trainers were enslaving Pokémon and forcing them to do battles; however, neither Hilda, nor her Pokémon companions, saw it that way. As such, she clashed with the team several times throughout her journey. Eventually, she even encountered N, the seeming leader of Team Plasma. The two talked and, although their ideals clashed, became friends and rivals with each other. Still, stopping Team Plasma was enough motivation to push Hilda to push even further into her journey while helping her friends. Hilda obtained the 8 gym badges of the region, attempted and failed to stop Team Plasma at Dragonspiral Tower, and even obtained the Dark Stone from Lenora in Nacrene City.

Then, the day that changed Hilda’s trajectory happened.

Hilda battled the Elite Four of Unova to chase after N; however, upon reaching the Champion, she was too late in stopping N. N defeated Alder and erected a large castle in the name of Team Plasma. N entered and Hilda chased after him, battling and beating any trainer that got in her way. It was there in the throne room where the two finally met once more: N, the Hero of Ideals vs. Hilda, the young trainer from Nuvema. Initially, Hilda tried to convince N to abandon his path, that people and Pokémon coexist with each other and that releasing all of the Pokémon isn’t in the best interest of either party or the world; however, N wasn’t swayed. As such, she prepared to challenge N to a battle to help him see the error of his ways.

That’s when something extraordinary happened.

The Dark Stone that Hilda carried with her reacted and transformed into Zekrom, the Legendary Pokémon of Ideals! Not only that, but Zekrom wished to challenge Hilda to prove that she was worthy of being the Hero of Ideals! Initially, Hilda was flustered, but N allowed her and Hilda agreed to the challenge. The fight was unlike any wild Pokémon that she’s seen before; however, at the end, Hilda was able to defeat and catch Zekrom and crown herself as the Hero of Ideals.

Then, it was N’s turn. Hilda and N fought, clashing the truth seeker against the idealist. The battle was even fiercer than before, with even Zekrom and Reshiram being pushed to the limits; however, it was Hilda that was victorious. Hilda was overwhelmed with joy at defeating N; however, she quickly regained her composure when a man by the name of Ghetsis denounced N and challenged her to silence and defeat her for ruining his dream of manipulating N into releasing all Pokémon except for his own. Furious, Hilda rose and challenged Ghetsis; however, unlike N, she utterly decimated Ghetsis’s team without a second thought, for it was him that started this trouble in the first place. With him defeated and Team Plasma disbanding, N smiled at Hilda, thanked her, bid her farewell, and flew off to find his own way. Much of Team Plasma was arrested that day as well.

Hilda was hailed as a hero in the Unova region; however, she didn’t care much for the title. As she stayed in the Unova Region, Hilda couldn’t stop but to think about N. As time went on and she helped the International Police tie up loose ends with the Seven Sages, she thought about where N would be. As she battled against the Swords of Justice on her own, she couldn’t stop thinking about the epic battle against him. Even when she befriended Iris and inspired her to try for Champion, Hilda thought of the Champion potential of N as well.

Thus, one day, Hilda fled the Unova Region to venture the world and search for her friend. Hilda wished her family and friends goodbye as she hopped from region to region to search for N. She encountered newer and stranger Pokémon and challenged interesting and unique trainers throughout her journey, but nothing could stop her from thinking of her friend. Eventually, she found him in a café in Kalos. N had been in Kalos to rediscover himself when Hilda found him. The two caught up and became friends once again, even battling each other like old times. N eventually understood his place in the world: to help foster the connection between people and Pokémon. As such, N agreed to return to the Unova Region; however, unlike N, Hilda decided to stay away. While Hilda had originally traveled to find N, she was now having too much fun traveling the world to go home now. Because of this, the two friends exchanged numbers and parted ways as Hilda continued to travel and make new friends.

Hilda, Zekrom, and her team traveled for several years. They even encountered and battled other trainers such as Serena, Leaf, and May. However, eventually, Hilda and Zekrom became homesick and returned home. There, they caught up with all of their friends and family. There, she shared the various adventures that she’s had, exchanged stories with her friends, and even made new friends of Nate, Rosa, and Hugh. She even learned about Ghetsis’s attempted return with Neo Team Plasma. Still, Hilda enjoyed her time back home and remembered how much she loved everyone.

She still kept in touch with her friends from other regions, too. She chatted with them regularly to hear about the going ons of the day and about their own respective journeys. Hilda learned about Team Rocket through Leaf and Kris, the Legendary Weather Trio through May, Team Galactic through Dawn and Cynthia, and other interesting stories.

That’s when she eventually had an idea. She and Leaf came together to make a friend group of several important trainers that they’ve met from each region. They called it the “Starter Squad” and stood as a group that would try to keep the peace within the regions of the world. Initially, the group only contained a few people, but as time went on, more important trainers would join their cause. Hilda now serves as co-leader of the group, doing whatever she can to keep the world safe and to have fun along the way.
