This entity involuntarily absorbs Shadow Energy from Shadow-type moves or from the passive aura of being around Shadow Pokémon. This energy is increasingly painful; however, once enough energy is absorbed, this entity temporarily transforms into a special Shadow Pokémon, changing their appearance, personality, abilities, and goals.
There is also a small chance that this entity can turn into a Shadow Pokémon whilst sleeping as well.
