Max Raid dens are boss fights that require 4 participants (including Heidi) to participate
Current Ruleset
- Normal damage calculation applies
- Turn order is determined by the speed order
- 20 enemy turns maximum
- Bosss enemies have 10x health
- each faint lowers the max turns by the total number of faints (1 faint lowers 1 turn, 2 lowers 2, etc.)
- enemy boss performs 2 actions per turn. Each damaging attack has a 30% chance to be the Max Move
- each player can individually dynamax. Dynamax lasts for 3 turns.
- A shield generates at some point in the fight for a certain amount of health. Normal attacks deal 30% damage, Neutral Max moves and Neutral Z-Moves deals 100% damage. Super Effective Max Moves and Z-Moves deals 110% damage. Secondary effects do trigger.
- When Mega Evolved, attacks while shielded deals 50% damage. On critical hit when shield is up, deal 100% damage
- Breaking the shield causes the enemy to flinch and grants the party an additional action/turn
- You can choose to either have your Pokemon perform a move, Attack Cheer (basically a +1 to offenses), Defense Cheer (+1 to defenses), or heal cheer (heals 25%-75% Max HP to party). Cheers do not stack.
- Fainting allows you to perform a special cheer, which has a 40% chance of doing one of a various number of effects (heal, attack, defense, set up screens, break enemy shield automatically, reset dynamax charge to party)
- An enemy will roar at a set point (that i haven't determined yet until I generate the set). This roar will suppress applicable abilities for a turn, reset ally stat boosts and reset the enemy's stat drops. This is an independent action that is automatically triggered once a threshhold is met.
- Heidi's direct participation causes her to perform special actions. She can be targeted but cannot faint; however, she cannot dynamax, either.
- There is a 10% chance that thee boss is a Magical Girl fight. If so, beating the boss will force it into phase 2. All turn limits, dynamax energy charges, and faint counters are reset. Beat both phases to make significant progress.
