Entry.091 - The Tiger Eye

On the search for the Mediator, the encounter in front of Barbaras home gets moved inside when a buff looking warrior guy called "Fenris" and his enchanted greataxe persuade for a more intimate meeting.
Not getting the answers from Barbara that the group wanted, it seems like she is not aware of the missing girl or what the mediator might want with her. Pressing further starts a combat in which the players quickly take the lead, so a truce bargains for more information.

Barbara tells of how she is distributing payments from the mediator to their henchmen when they visit for a price cut in her barber shop. She picks the money up in the North Hat district after being mentally informed about where to find the sack of money each sunday. Somewhat satisfied, the group goes home to sleep.

On the next day, a visit to the home of Silent Pete leads to another track, in the form of a younger looking fellow, suspiciously leaving the place. Interrogations are being held, an agreement is made, the group follows the man to the north hat district of Zeantis into a hotel named "The Tiger Eye", where he informs half-elven woman at the entrance of the group.

A couple minutes later and the invisible group enters the secret mediator hideout in the basement of the hotel, finding the missing sister of Pete that is being held prisoner. They also find lots of paperwork they can barely read and a chest that may be a mimic - but no mediator.

While Ken starts a teleportation circle spell, he is attacked by minor dust elementals that can be destroyed quickly, shortly before the circle brings the group back to the gates of zeantis.

The girl is taken to the IRA HQ where the dragonborn guard shall watch over her. A lunch later, the group makes their way back to the Tiger Eye, where they do still not find the mediator, but information of his visit earlier today - so he most likely knows of the break in. The group decides to turn around again to go to the HQ one more time, as the daytime ends to slowly greet an evening with Qizenya...
