Entry.109 - Ori Bonkers

Back in Zeantis, the IRA decides to follow up on the secret base of Abraxas of which they own the teleportation circle sequence. Archmage Khelem opens them a circle but stays behind.

A series of rooms that contain traps, riddles and enemies, the group makes their way through the structure:

1) The entry room with a carpet hiding the teleportation circle below.
2) A partially collapsed room in which a key is found to deactivate the fire trap to room 3.
3) Containing a wall with four geometric holes that open a secret passage. Also a suspicious chest, that in the end is not a mimic, but the triangle key inside is.
4) A room that seals itself upon touching a swirring metal ball, attacking anyone with retractable blades.
5) Completely covered in a deep water filled pool, the round key is found at the bottom, guarded by water tentacles and an elemental.
6) A lowered floor covered in a barely visible mist, at the ceiling an array of spears sticking out along with the square key.
7) Two fountains, one with a skull and one with a hand carved in.
8+9) Spider webs and magical darkness, as well as an invisible spectral spider that guards the rectangle key.
10) A theatre which must be used to amuse the audience of dolls.
11) The entry to "Ori Bonkers Adventure Rooms", an escape-room like entertainment location for the whole family (most people seem to die here). The dark skinned halfling that is missing half his teeth and a bad eye explains that "Lord Demian" is investing into the location as long as he can keep the secret back chamber in room 12.
12) Behind an invisible door is the secret base of Abraxas (aka "Lord Demian"), abandoned. But the following can be recovered:

  • The broken necklace prison of the last finger of morlin - Ajasi
  • Detailed descriptions of fake personas of Abraxas
  • Detailed report on some ministers and the IRA - from the Mediator
  • Detailed schematics of the The Floating Seamen
  • Empty glass tubes, similar to the one Gawrth was conserved in
  • A small golden chest with a piece of chalk, a strange magical eyeball and a one-sided coin

The found eyeball seems to have belonged to Ambrotam, the faceless. A powerful artefact that is claimed by Gawrth. The coin that is most likely an entrance to the mysterious casino somewhere in Zeantis is claimed by Jeff.

And as the heist ends, the quest for Archmage Khelem to retrieve some Green Bilurium in the Taesi Forest stands in line.
